Just trying to find out the cheapest thing I can do to make my 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora look better (not very concerned with the speed or handling but open to suggestions on that subject also)? The main things I would like are sound system and exterior parts but I am open to anything. It has all stock parts right now and only a V6 engine. Look at the on-line Jc whiney calloge.|||Tinted windows, crome door handles, rims would look nice but under $300 impossible, try taking off the hubcaps, spraypaint that part crome color and then buy some crome colored hubcaps, they look nice, seriously. I have some on my altima and when they are spinning you can barely tell the differece.|||Just make sure it's completely clean and polished. That will cost nest to nothing. Spend the $300 or so on a good quality tint job. That will look good, be more comfortable in the summer heat, afford more privacy, and hopefully fit into your budget.|||You can never go wrong with a good paint job.I would make sure it drives and runs good before i made it look cool but thats just me.Try to find some rims forsale that will help too.

Is it possible to create an artificial Aurora Borealis?
I have to do an end of course project for my physics class. I was hoping that I could create an artificial Aurora Borealis and explain why it happens and how it relates to physics.|||Look at a Tesla coil.
That explains alot, and raises questions that are inspired to learn.|||well, since you are a physics student,you better hit those books and let us all know how things went.|||I suppose if you went far enough away from the Earth and shot enough charged particles at the Earth it might work. However....I don't think you can do that.

What does it take to play aurora in sleeping beauty ballet?
How do you know your ready to have that role.I just started that goal of mine to play aurora in a ballet..what will it take ?|||It's going to take a LOT of work, honey. You definitely have to be on pointe, you have to have very strong ankles, and you have to love ballet. Really love it and be dedicated to it. You have to be good with memorization and quite often stretch.

How is the second week of April to witness the Aurora Borealis from Fairbanks, Alaska?
Is Fairbanks the best place to witness the Aurora Borealis or is there any other vantage point in Alaska?|||Yes, it is near the end of season because the nights pretty much go away come June. The sun does set in Fairbanks in summer, but never gets far below the horizon, so the sky never gets dark enough. March 21 is 12 hours of light and 12 of dark everywhere on the planet. So 20-25 days later, Fairbanks will have gained about 20 days x 8 minutes/days more light or about 3 hours. Giving you 15 hours of daylight and 9 hours of night.
4 biggest factors (3 of which you can control):
Time of year (more dark hours in winter)
How much of the night you are out looking at the sky (taking a drive, especially a long drive (e.g. ANC-FAI) helps A LOT!
Which year within the 11-year solar cycle (currently coming up from the minimum, so not at its most likely, but still there are auroras at some point most night that far north. And,
The day-to-day peaks and valleys of solar activity. Those can't be predicted very well until 2-3 days in advance and that is too late for trip planning for most people.
Tips: Look at www.spaceweather.com (they update more frequently) and http://www.gedds.alaska.edu/AuroraForeca鈥?/a> (they have more links to background info. Also they have an option for an "aurora alert" email/page that you would want to activate while you are here.
Oh, and always book night flights with a window seat on the north and/or east side of the plane. Northern Lights viewing is generally best between october and march, when it's darkest.
