i have a 98 olds aurora I keep up with the matainance regularly oil every 3,000 miles etc.
i have noticed when i use 10 -30 oil it tends to smoke slighly when its started!
I live in florida and my car never see's temps below 35 deg f
what is the best oil to use for a car with 100k millage!
i considered 10-40 but dont want to hurt my engine!
the car is a 32 valve V8 and runs great!
I also want to know about antifreeze it says to use only green coolant on the resivor does that meen ony green at 50% or should it only be coolant not mixed!|||Unless you buy premixed antifreeze, it should be a 50/50 mixture of water and coolant. 10w40 oil shouldn't hurt the engine in a warm climate. Use a good quality oil though, not WALMART crap!
