Does the Southern Hemisphere have an aurora effect?
I live in the Northern hemisphere, where we have the aurora borealis - the northern lights. I was wondering if the Southern hemisphere experiences the same effects from the sun?|||Yes,they do.Their own aurora is called aurora australis or southern polar lights and is similar to the aurora borealis.It is only visible from high southern latitudes in South america, Antartica and Australasia.|||Yes it's called the Aurora Borealis.|||Yes. It's called the aurora australis, for southern light.
