My family is going to Alaska and i really wanna see the aurora borealis (is it even in alaska?)
can you see it everynight? what cities can you see it in?|||I live in Alaska, and have seen the light many many times. The Aurora could happen at any time, but it needs to be dark for you to see them. So in summer you will not be seeing the Aurora.
Nighttime in the winter is the ideal time to see them.
In winter you can see them from any part of the state, but the show will be better the farther you are from town and the electric lights of town.
