I need to take my kitten to see the vet, just for checkups and a rabies shot. But I'm a poor college student. Is there anyone with reasonable prices or a sliding scale? Or any recommendations for just a very good, personable vet who knows his/her stuff?|||Hi there...consider ringing each of the following vets listed below to see if anyone could assist you or provide a suggestion as to who could in your city.

She is great with cats!|||I do not know the area, except I do know about Alameda East Vet Hospital, and you DO NOT want to go there because their costs are terrible. They hike up all of their costs. They just remodeled and they offer more than necessary services and of course they used to have a tv show, so they think they can hike up their costs. For a simple health check, it should normally be around $30, but they charge $65!! Please do not support them.
