I know the battery is under the seat, but there are supposed to be terminals under the hood. Where?|||Your battery is underneath a case on the driver's side/front of the engine compartment. The positive terminal should have a red cap which you can flip back exposing a nut and bolt with a wire connector attached. This is where the red booster cable end should be attached. To attach the black cable you must find a metal area that is grounded to the body such as a strut mount or fender bolt.|||If you have the hood open there is a red cover just to the left of the engine, open the cover and that's the positive terminal. Negative get grounded to the engine.|||Negative is grounded to the FRAME not the engine. Usually there's a sticker that say's "ground" on the frame somewhere; ground it there.
GM usually has a positive post through the fuse box cover it has a red cap.|||There should be a red cap on towards the passanger or drivers side strut tower (by the fender) remove the cap hook the positve side to it and find a good ground to hook the negative side to.|||The battery terminals are on the battery, + stamped on the battery means Hot post, and - means
negative or ground post ! Do not cross them !
