So problem i have is mutiple so the car wont start and keeps draining my battery, and ive had it recharged at autozone. when i turn the key i can here the engine click and rev up but nothing fully turning the car on. So what do i need to do? Do I go to autozone and see if i have a faulty alternator, new battery, or something else.|||First off, have the battery tested, to make sure it's still good. Second, have your alternator tested. If both of those are good, do you have anything plugged into the cigarette lighter (besides a lighter) that might be draining power? Failing all those, you may have a short somewhere.|||You might have started with a bad alternator that allowed the battery to drain, or it may have been because the battery is bad that it won't charge.
You can go through a ping pong effect because if you continue driving it after you get a jump start, you are stressing out both things.
Get the car started and take it to Autozone and they can check your battery, alternator and starter to figure out what is wrong.
Don't just change parts.|||I can grandstand why people take a car somewhere to have battery charged. Chargers are not expensive. Take car to battery depot, have the battery drop tested. This is very easy, they just put a drop meter across the terminals and read a dial. This will say if your battery is defunct. If battery is OK it will probably be alternator. This is tested in about 2 mins by garage. Does your car start if it is jump started, if so start with the battery.
