Question about replacing a steering gear rack and pinion mount on a 1998 Aurora with a 4.0 Northstar motor?

I have a 1998 Aurora that needs the rack and pinion replaced. There is another problem which is the bouncing cause the rack mount (that connects to the frame) to break and it seems that part is almost impossible to get especially when its an oldsmobile. Any Suggestions?|||If you can't find the mount anywhere, your only alternative is to have someone weld it for you. Good luck and hope this helps.
