Where can I find a list of dates that the Aurora australis (aka southern lights) showed in Antartica?
South pole aurora, anything will do, it doesn't matter which station.|||The aurora australia is very common in Antarctica just as the aurora borealis is common in the Arctic. In fact any time there is a northern aurora, there is a southern one because the particles from the solar wind travel down the magnetic lines of force around the planet to both the north and south magnetic poles at the same time. I saw the aurora australia most nights when I was in Antarctica if the sky was clear.|||just google it.....
