Where is the starter located on a 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora ?

I feel like such a goofball, but I cannot find the starter on my Aurora for anything. Please, someone tell me where it is and how to get to it so that I can change it. I bought the replacement starter used so no help there. Also, I have already checked with parts stores.THANK YOU|||The starter is located under the intake manifold you have to remove it to gain access. It's not as bad as you think. Remember to change the gaskets and torque the manifold when reinstalling.

Get a repair manual for the torque specs.

Also see link for more information and discussions.|||It's under the intake manifold if it is the Cadillac motor in here which I believe it is. It is not that bad of a job. You will need new gaskets for the upper intake as well. Good luck.|||this will sound stupid but its under the intake manifold. u have to remove the intske to change it. the starters on these engines usually don't have problems cause where their at they don't get all the oil and dirt in them but on t he down side it makes them harder to change|||i own a shop and its on side of the engine closest to the fire wall, you wont have to remove the intake manifold to get it off but you might have to drop the exhaust pipe a little to get it out from the bottom, good luck with it.|||front of the engine middle of the car on the bottom
